As an endurance athlete and avid outdoorsman, I am always looking new for ways to challenge myself combing those two qualities. Here are some of my upcoming, or most recent events!
2023 Colorado 14er Record Attempt
The state of Colorado has 58 peaks that rise over 14,000 ft in elevation. The current record to climb all the peaks is 9 days, 21 hours, and 51 minutes. My goal for the summer of 2023 is to break this speed record, climbing more than 150,000 ft of elevation, 300 miles of trail running, and summiting 7-8 peaks every 24 hours over the course of 9 days! A documentary will be made about this record attempt and my path leading up to the attempt.
David Goggins, famous Navy Seal and Author, has a challenge he created where contestants run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. I have completed this challenge and wanted an even loftier goal; run 8 miles every 4 hours, for 48 hours. With the help a 3 man support crew, I did just that, going from Colorado Springs, Colorado, ending in Oceanside, California. We made stops along the way to run in several beautiful national parks. Instead of finishing with 8 miles, I finished with a sub 2 hour half marathon, and ran a total of 101 miles.
All of my events are shared on multiple social media platforms, as well as upcoming documentaries.
My endurance events require a significant amount of financial support, logistical planning, and tools/gear.
