Day 3 Episode 2: 2024 14er Speed Record Attempt

Squeezing in a quick status update before the crew hits the road, er, trail once again...

Drew has been working on a very tough set today, and so far has successfully summitted Lindsey and Blanca, with Ellingwood and Little Bear still to go. It's an extraordinary view from afar, but get up close and personal and this set is simply grueling, even for the most seasoned of experts. Please keep the prayers and good vibes flowing Drew's way as he rises up to meet any challenges that might come his way.

Once he wraps up this set, Drew and the crew will head to the next trailhead and during the transition, Drew will hopefully get to squeeze in a couple hours of rest before gearing up to tackle Kit Carson and the Crestones.

On the ground, the crew has been staged most of the day near the Lake Como Road trailhead, where they were able to regroup and review plans, and get some much needed rest and refueling. Some new members transitioned in today, and the latest report from the crew is they're refreshed, re-energized and ready to go.

Thanks again to everyone following along and for all your messages of support. It means the world to Drew!

Way to go Drew and Crew! So many people are watching and following along. Not the same as 58 14ers, but switching up the routine today and going up the incline. Thank you Drew for always being so inspiring!
